The Arco Británico (which means British Arch in Spanish) is a special monument in Valparaíso, Chile. You can find it on Avenida Brasil. It was given to the city in 1910 by the British community living there. This gift celebrated 100 years since Chile became independent. The arch was designed by a Chilean architect named Alfredo Azancot and was officially opened in 1911.
