Ariel Zev Emanuel (born in 1961) is an American businessman. He is the CEO of Endeavor. This company is a big entertainment and media agency. It owns well-known sports organizations like the UFC and WWE. Ari Emanuel helped start the Endeavor Talent Agency. He was also key in bringing it together with the William Morris Agency in 2009.

Early Life and Family

Ari Emanuel grew up in a Jewish family in Wilmette, Illinois. He has two famous brothers. One is Rahm Emanuel, who used to be the mayor of Chicago. He also worked for the President. His other brother is Ezekiel Emanuel, a doctor and expert in medical ethics. Ari also has a sister named Shoshana.

His father, Benjamin M. Emanuel, was a doctor. His mother, Marsha Emanuel, worked for civil rights. She also owned a rock and roll music club. When Ari was in third grade, he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. These are learning differences. His mother spent a lot of time helping him learn to read. She hired teachers to give him private lessons at home.

His Career in Entertainment

Before starting Endeavor, Ari Emanuel worked as an agent at other companies. He was a partner at InterTalent and a senior agent at ICM Partners. Since 2007, he has been on the board of directors for Live Nation Entertainment. This company organizes many live music events.
