Rudolf Nieberding's Early Life and Studies
Rudolf Nieberding was born in 1838. He grew up and later decided to study law. He attended several famous universities to learn about legal systems and laws. He studied at the University of Breslau, the University of Heidelberg, and the Humboldt-University of Berlin. Studying law prepared him for a career in government and justice.
Working for the German Government
Nieberding began his career in 1861, working in the civil service of Prussia. The civil service includes all the people who work for the government to help run the country. Later, in 1872, he moved to work for the civil service of the larger German Empire.
His most important role was when he became the Minister of Justice for the German Empire. He held this important position from 1893 until 1909. As Minister of Justice, he was in charge of the country's legal system, making sure laws were fair and followed correctly.
Rudolf Nieberding passed away in 1912 when he was 74 years old.
