Short Stories

LEPrecon
The story LEPrecon happens before the very first Artemis Fowl book. It focuses on one of the main characters, an elf named Holly Short. This story explains how Holly joins a special fairy police unit. This unit is called LEPrecon, which is a clever play on the word "leprechaun."
The Seventh Dwarf
The Seventh Dwarf takes place between the first book, Artemis Fowl, and Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident. In this story, two characters are trying to steal a valuable tiara. They don't know at first that they are both after the same thing. When they meet, they decide to work together to get the tiara.
Artemis Fowl's Journey
As the books go on, you'll see a big change in the main character, Artemis Fowl II. In the first book, he is shown as someone who uses his intelligence for selfish reasons. He acts like a "bad guy." However, as the series continues, Artemis starts to care more about others. He begins to use his amazing mind to help people and fight for good. This shows his growth from a criminal mastermind to a hero.
