Arthur Achleitner facts for kids
Arthur Achleitner (born August 16, 1858, in Straubing, which was then part of the Kingdom of Bavaria, and died September 29, 1927, in Munich) was a German writer. He is remembered for his interesting stories. These stories often described the local customs and unique ways of life of people. He wrote about folks living in the Austrian and Bavarian Alps. He also wrote about people in the Mediterranean areas that were once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, especially in Croatia and Bosnia.
