Arthur Gardner (born Arthur Goldberg; June 7, 1910 – December 19, 2014) was an American actor and movie producer. He had a very long career in Hollywood, working for over 70 years.
Early Life and Acting
Arthur Gardner was born in Marinette, Wisconsin. He started his acting career early.
One of his first roles was in the famous 1930 movie All Quiet on the Western Front. This movie was about World War I. Arthur Gardner was the last person alive from the cast or crew of that film.
Becoming a Producer
Arthur Gardner didn't just act; he also became a successful movie producer. In 1951, he helped create a company called Levy-Gardner-Laven. This company made many popular TV shows and movies.
Famous TV Shows
Gardner helped produce several well-known television series. These include The Rifleman, which aired from 1958 to 1963. He also produced The Big Valley, a popular show from 1965 to 1969.
Movie Productions
He also produced movies that starred famous actors. For example, he produced the 1974 movie McQ. He also produced Brannigan in 1975. Both of these films starred the legendary actor John Wayne.

Arthur Gardner lived in Beverly Hills, California, for many years. His son, Steve Gardner, also became an actor. Arthur Gardner passed away in Beverly Hills in 2014, at the age of 104.
