Asao Sano (born August 13, 1925 – died June 28, 2022) was a well-known Japanese actor. He became very famous for playing the role of Tokugawa Mitsukuni. This was in the long-running TV series Mito Kōmon. Sano passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
