Ashley is a village in Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 563 at the 2010 census. The village is located in the northwest corner of Elba Township. No major state trunkline runs through the village, although M-57 passes within one mile to the south. Ashley was platted in 1884.

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 563 people, 195 households, and 133 families living in the village. The population density was 879.7 inhabitants per square mile (339.7/km2). There were 221 housing units at an average density of 345.3 per square mile (133.3/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.9% White, 1.1% African American, 0.2% Asian, 0.7% from other races, and 0.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.2% of the population.
There were 195 households, of which 33.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.2% were married couples living together, 13.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.8% were non-families. 27.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.98.
The median age in the village was 41.3 years. 24.9% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 23.6% were from 25 to 44; 24.3% were from 45 to 64; and 21.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 45.8% male and 54.2% female.
