Ashley-Anne Lilley was born in Rothesay, a town on the Isle of Bute in Scotland. When she was 12 years old, she joined the National Youth Music Theatre. This is a special group for young people who love music and acting. At 15, she went to the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She finished her studies there in 2004.
