Her Career as a Model

Asmi started her modeling career when she was 16 years old. This was in 2010, and she worked for Classic Diamond Jewelers. In 2012, she appeared in a music video. It was for a song called Birsana Sakinna by Sonam Tashi Gurung.

In 2014, Asmi took part in a modeling contest. It was called Face of Diamond. She won the main prize in this competition.

Becoming Miss Nepal

In 2016, Asmi Shrestha joined the Miss Nepal 2016 competition. She was contestant number 11. During the competition, she won several special awards. She was named Best Evening Gown, Miss Photogenic, and Miss Personality.

After winning these awards, she was crowned Miss Nepal 2016. This was a very big achievement for her.
