The Asociación de Profesores y Monitores en Llingua Llïonesa or APMLL is a group of teachers and helpers who teach the Leonese language. This special language is spoken in parts of Spain.

The APMLL works hard to keep the Leonese language alive and help more people learn it. They teach in 16 schools in the city of Llión, Spain. They also offer classes for adults in the areas of Llión, Zamora, and Salamanca.

What Does APMLL Do?

Besides teaching, the APMLL organizes fun activities to share the Leonese language with everyone. One important event they help with is the Leonese Language Day. This day celebrates the language and its culture across the old Kingdom of León region. Their goal is to make sure the Leonese language continues to be spoken and loved by new generations.
