Atsushi Yoneyama (米山 篤志, Yoneyama Atsushi, born November 20, 1976) is a Japanese football player and manager. He used to play as a defender. Atsushi Yoneyama also played one game for the Japan national team. He has played for several top clubs in Japan.

Starting Out in Football
Atsushi Yoneyama was born in Utsunomiya, Japan, on November 20, 1976. He started his professional football journey while still a student. In 1998, he joined Verdy Kawasaki. This team later became known as Tokyo Verdy.
Becoming a Key Defender
Yoneyama quickly became an important player for Verdy Kawasaki. He played as a center-back, which is a defensive position. He helped protect the team's goal. He stayed with the club for many years.
Winning the J.League Cup
In 2004, Atsushi Yoneyama and Tokyo Verdy won the J.League Cup. This is a major football tournament in Japan. It was a big achievement for him and his team.
Moving to New Teams
