Playing in Brazil
Augusto started his professional career in 1992 with Goiás. He played there for several seasons, becoming an important part of the team. After Goiás, he joined Portuguesa Desportos in 1997.
He also played for other well-known Brazilian clubs. These included Corinthians Paulista, Botafogo, and América. He often moved between clubs, playing in Brazil's top football league, the Série A.
Adventures in Japan
