Aurora Chamorro i Gual (born June 11, 1954 – died October 17, 2020) was a Spanish swimmer. She was one of Spain's top swimmers in her specialities between 1968 and 1974.
A Champion Swimmer
Aurora Chamorro trained at the CN Poble Nou club. She became very good at freestyle and butterfly sprint races. She was one of the best Spanish swimmers in the 1970s.
Winning Titles
Aurora won many swimming titles during her career.
- She became the champion of Catalonia thirty times.
- Among these, she won eleven titles in the 100-meter butterfly race.
- She also won seven titles in the 100-meter freestyle race.
At the Spanish Championships, Aurora won twenty-eight titles. She was especially good at:
- 100-meter butterfly
- 100-meter freestyle
- 4x100-meter freestyle relay
- 4x100-meter medley relay
Breaking Records
Aurora Chamorro also broke many swimming records.
- She set fourteen new records in Catalonia.
- She also set ten new records in Spain.
These records were achieved between 1969 and 1972.

Aurora Chamorro represented Spain in international swimming events many times. She was part of the Spanish swimming team on thirty-nine occasions.
