Avenida Bolívar, or Bolívar Avenue in English, is a really important street in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela. It's located in the western part of Caracas, in an area called the Libertador Bolivarian Municipality.

Building this avenue started on July 25, 1945. It was officially opened on December 31, 1949. This big project was part of a larger plan called "Plan Rotival." This plan aimed to build new important places, like a new Capital building and a special memorial for Simón Bolívar, a famous hero.

Avenida Bolívar is about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) long. Because it's so big, it's often used for many different kinds of events.
