Ayesha Bakhsh is a well-known Pakistani television journalist and news anchor. She was born on July 4, 1981. Many people know her from her time at Geo News, a big TV channel in Pakistan. She worked there as an anchor for 11 years. During that time, she hosted a popular TV show called 'Report Card'.

About Ayesha Bakhsh
Early Life and Education
Ayesha Bakhsh was born in Pakpattan District, Punjab, Pakistan. Her parents are Mian Mohammad Bakhsh and Rubina Bakhsh. She has three siblings: two brothers, Zeeshan Bakhsh and Osman Bakhsh, and a sister, Saima Bakhsh. Her brother, Zeeshan Bakhsh, is also a journalist.
Ayesha went to St. Mary Convent School in Sahiwal. After that, she studied at Fatima Jinnah Women University in Rawalpindi. She earned a master's degree in Communication Sciences. This degree helped her learn about how people share information.
Her Journey in Journalism
Ayesha Bakhsh started her career in television news. Before joining Geo News, she worked as an anchor at ARY News. In January 2007, Ayesha joined Geo Television. She quickly became a senior newscaster there.
Her first time on TV as an anchor for Geo was on a show called Nazim Hazir Ho. She also hosted other shows when the regular hosts were away. These shows included Crisis Cell, Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath, and Leikin.
By 2015, she was hosting a talk show called News Room. She also hosted the talk show Report Card on Geo News. She was a part of a group of 12 journalists from Pakistan. This group visited Beijing, China, on July 4, 2011.
Ayesha Bakhsh worked at Geo News until 2018. After that, she started working at GNN (news channel). More recently, in 2023, she joined Samaa TV. She continues her work as a journalist and news anchor there.
Awards and Recognition
Ayesha Bakhsh has received several awards for her excellent work in journalism. She won the Pakistan Media Awards in both 2012 and 2014. She also received Agahi Awards for being outstanding in journalism in 2016 and 2017. These awards show her dedication and skill in reporting the news.
