Todd's Bridge and Tobacco
North of Aylett, there used to be a place called Todd's Bridge, or just Todd's. This bridge is no longer there today. Both Todd's and Aylett were mentioned in a special law from 1730 called the Tobacco Inspection Act of 1730.
