Brandon Howard, also known as B. Howard, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born in Los Angeles. He started his music career by writing and producing songs for other famous artists.

A Musical Family

B. Howard was born in Los Angeles and grew up there and in Chicago. Music was a big part of his family. His mother, Miki Howard, is a famous singer and songwriter. In the 1980s, his mother's manager was Joe Jackson, the father of the famous Jackson family.

His grandmother, Josephine Howard, was part of a gospel group called The Caravans. They were one of the first gospel groups to have their music played on regular radio stations. His grandfather, Clay Graham, was a singer in the group Pilgrim Jubilees.

At first, Howard thought about working in finance. But after seeing music videos by bands like A-ha and Tears for Fears on MTV, he decided to pursue a career in music. He started out working with the singer Gerald Levert.

Making Music

B. Howard began his career as a record producer in 2003, creating music for other artists. He became a solo artist in 2010 after his song "Dancefloor" became popular. That same year, he worked with artists Wyclef Jean and Jazmine Sullivan. They remade the song "Ke Nako" to honor Nelson Mandela.

In 2011, Howard released his first single from the album Genesis, called "Super Model." His next single was "Dancefloor." To support his music, he traveled to Japan to perform for his fans.

His song "Don't Say You Love Me" was a big success. In January 2016, it reached number 11 on Billboard's Top Dance chart. In 2018, Howard was invited to perform at a virtual star festival in Beijing, China.

Comparisons to Michael Jackson

Many people have noticed that B. Howard looks and sounds similar to the pop star Michael Jackson. This has led to a lot of discussion. In 2014, a website claimed it had proof that Howard was Jackson's son. However, the tests were not able to prove anything for sure.

In an interview that same year, the singer Akon talked to Larry King. Akon, who worked with both Howard and Jackson, said that he believes Howard is Michael Jackson's son. In 2021, singer Aaron Carter also said in an interview that he believes B. Howard is Michael Jackson's son.
