Brandon Howard, known as B. Howard, is an American singer, songwriter, and music producer. He was born in Los Angeles, California. He started his career in 2003 by writing and producing songs for other artists.
His early work included songs for famous artists like Ne-Yo and Omarion. Ne-Yo's album In My Own Words (2006), which B. Howard worked on, became a number one hit. His own first album, Genesis, came out in 2010. Later, his 2016 song "Don't Say You Love Me" became popular, reaching number 11 on the Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

Early Life and Musical Roots
B. Howard was born Brandon Howard in Los Angeles. He spent his childhood living in both Los Angeles and Chicago. Music runs in his family. His mother, Miki Howard, is also a successful singer and songwriter.
His grandmother, Josephine Howard, was part of a group called The Caravans. This group made history by being the first gospel group to have their music played on regular radio stations. B. Howard first thought about working in finance. However, he was inspired by music videos from bands like A-ha and Tears for Fears. This led him to choose a career in music instead. He began his music journey using the artist name "Sonik." He first worked with musician Gerald Levert in Cleveland, Ohio.

In 2010, B. Howard began his solo singing career. This happened after his song "Dancefloor" became popular. That same year, he worked with Wyclef Jean and Jazmine Sullivan. They remade the song "Ke Nako" to honor Nelson Mandela.
His album Genesis featured the single "Super Model," released in 2011. Another single from the album, "Dancefloor," also came out in 2011. B. Howard performed in Japan to support this release. He also released the single "I Do It" in 2013.
One of his biggest hits, "Don't Say You Love Me," reached number 11 on Billboard's Top Dance charts in January 2016. In 2018, B. Howard took part in China's virtual star festival in Beijing.
