What is the Baby Food Festival?

This festival started way back in 1991. It was first called "Old Fashioned Days." In 2010, it celebrated its 20th birthday as the Baby Food Festival. Even though Fremont is a small town, over 100,000 people visit for the festival! It takes over a big part of Main Street downtown.

Fun Activities for Everyone

The festival lasts for three exciting days. You can enjoy live music performances. There are also thrilling carnival rides. Kids have their own special events and games. You'll find lots of entertainment and cool exhibitions. Many places sell yummy food and drinks. A parade is often part of the fun too. It features unique vehicles and cool antique cars.

Festival Queen Pageant

A special part of the festival is choosing a Festival Queen. Young women from the local area compete. The winners receive scholarships and other prizes. They also get to represent the festival. This means they attend important events for the festival and the town.

A Virtual Celebration

In 2020, things were a bit different. The festival still happened, but it was a virtual event. This allowed everyone to celebrate safely from home.
