What Kinds of Exhibitions Are There?
Exhibitions come in many forms, each with a different purpose.
Museum Exhibitions
Museums often host special exhibitions. For example, a museum might show many paintings by a famous artist. These paintings are usually "on loan," meaning they are borrowed from other museums or collectors just for that show.
Museum exhibitions can cover many topics. You might see:
- Art exhibitions, showing paintings, sculptures, or photos.
- Science exhibitions, where you can learn about space or animals.
- History exhibitions, displaying old tools or clothing from the past.
Trade Shows and Expos
Some exhibitions are for businesses. These are called trade shows or expos. Companies show off their new products or services. They hope to attract new customers or partners.
Trade shows can be open to everyone. But sometimes, they are only for people invited from other businesses. This helps companies connect with each other.
