Bagel Bites were created by two people named Bob Mosher and Stanley Garkzynski. They were both from Fort Myers, Florida. They came up with the idea for these mini pizza bagels.
How the Company Grew
After inventing Bagel Bites, Mosher and Garkzynski sold their company. A big food company called John Labatt Co. bought it. Later, in 1991, a large part of John Labatt Co. was purchased by Heinz. This was a huge deal worth $500 million! Today, Bagel Bites is still owned by Heinz. It is part of their Ore-Ida brand, which is known for frozen potato products.
