Antonia D. Reed (born April 22, 1966), known as Bahamadia, is an American hip hop artist and singer. She is famous for her unique rapping style. Bahamadia released her first album, Kollage, in 1996.

She then released an EP (which is like a mini-album) called BB Queen in 2000. Her full-length album, Good Rap Music, came out in 2005. Bahamadia has also released several singles, including "Dialed Up Vol. 1" (in 2013), "Here" (in 2015), and "Dialed Up Vol. 2" (in 2018).

Bahamadia has worked with many other musicians. Some of these include the Roots, Erykah Badu, Morcheeba, and Guru. She has been a guest artist on their songs.

In November 2016, Bahamadia appeared on the TV show Project Runway. Her son, Mah-Jing Wong, was a contestant on that season.

Bahamadia's Music Journey

Bahamadia went to high school in Philadelphia during the 1980s. She attended schools like University City High School. While still in high school, she became very serious about hip hop music.

She was inspired by popular hip hop acts of that time. These included The Cold Crush Brothers, Schoolly D, and Lady B. Around this time, she also started performing as a DJ. A DJ plays music for an audience.

In 1993, a famous rapper named Guru from the group Gang Starr noticed her talent. He heard her song on an EP called Funk Vibes. This helped her gain more attention in the music world.
