Bailey's Prairie is a small village located in Brazoria County, in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Texas. In 2020, about 775 people lived there. This village was founded in 1818. It is named after an early pioneer named James Briton "Brit" Bailey, who lived from 1779 to 1832.

Bailey's Prairie is located in the middle of Brazoria County. Texas State Highway 35 goes through the village. This highway leads east about 5 miles (8 km) to Angleton. Angleton is the main town, or county seat, of Brazoria County. The highway also goes west about 8 miles (13 km) to West Columbia.
The village covers a total area of about 7.7 square miles (19.9 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, about 7.5 square miles (19.3 square kilometers). A small part, about 0.2 square miles (0.58 square kilometers), is water.
