Ball4Real was a special traveling basketball show that started in June 2007. It featured famous streetball players who traveled to different cities. These players would challenge local teams to exciting games. Streetball is a type of basketball played outside, often with amazing tricks and fancy moves.

The games were known for incredible dribbling, fancy ball handling, and cool passes. Players would also do amazing slam dunks. The rules were a bit more relaxed than regular basketball, making the games very entertaining.

How Ball4Real Started

Ball4Real was created by some players who used to be part of the famous AND1 streetball team. Lisa Fusco, who was the general manager for the AND1 Mixtape Tour, also helped create Ball4Real. She became the CEO of the new tour.

The players and Lisa Fusco actually owned parts of the Ball4Real tour together. In 2007, the team included players who had left AND1, plus some new talented players.

The Tour and Its End

The Ball4Real team traveled around in 2007, playing games in big arenas. However, not many people came to watch the games. Because of this, the group stopped playing in February 2008.

After Ball4Real ended, many of its players joined a new tour called the Ball4LifeTour. On July 14, 2008, a player named Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell signed a contract with the Mountain Dew sponsoring agency.
