Bandar bin Khalid Al Saud (Arabic: بندر بن خالد آل سعود) was born in 1965. He is a Saudi prince and a successful businessman. He works as an important advisor at the Royal Court, which means he gives advice to the King. He also leads a big media company called Advanced Media Holding Company (AMHC). This company owns a radio station and a newspaper called Al Watan.
Early Life and School
Prince Bandar bin Khalid was born in 1965. He is the oldest son of Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud. His brothers are Sultan bin Khalid Al Faisal and Saud bin Khalid Al Faisal. Their mother is Al Anoud bint Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud.
Prince Bandar studied computer science at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. He earned his degree in 1988. Later, in 2005, he got a master's degree in international business management from Tufts University. He also took many special courses in managing businesses. He is also an experienced pilot, having flown for over 4,000 hours!
Prince Bandar's Work
Prince Bandar bin Khalid has many important roles. He is the chairman of the board for Assir Foundation. This foundation publishes the Al Watan newspaper. He also leads Investments Enterprises.
He helped start the Arab Thought Foundation. This group works to help people in Arab countries and Western countries understand each other better. He is also a leader at the King Faisal Foundation. This foundation supports education and science.
Prince Bandar started his own companies, Alttmir Company Ltd. and Sama Airlines. He is also a board member of the Arab House and Harvey Nichols Riyadh. He is a managing director and board member of the Saudi Aviation Club. In 2010, he became the vice president of Painting and Patronage.
In June 2017, Prince Bandar was chosen to be a royal consultant. This means he gives advice to the royal family. He is also the chairman of the Jockey Club Saudi Arabia. This club organizes horse racing events. He is also the President of the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation.
Family Life
Prince Bandar is married to Princess Nouf bint Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud. They have four children together. Their children are named Khalid, Louloah, Faisal, and Haya.
