Shiela Marie "Bang" Pineda, born on January 21, 1991, is a talented Filipino volleyball player. She is known for her skills as a libero, a special defensive player on the court.

Bang Pineda's Volleyball Journey

Bang Pineda started her volleyball career playing for the Adamson Lady Falcons in college. She showed great skill early on. During the UAAP Season 75 season, she was recognized as the "Best Server." She also played in the UAAP Season 76.

After her college years, Bang joined the Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns. Here, she continued to shine, earning the "Best Digger" award in the 11th Season Open Conference. She also played in the 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference with the team.

Playing for Professional Clubs

Bang Pineda then moved on to play for several professional clubs. One of her most successful periods was with the Petron Blaze Spikers.

In the 2017 season, Bang and her teammate Frances Molina won a bronze medal in the Beach Challenge Cup. This showed her versatility in both indoor and beach volleyball. Later that year, her team, Petron Blaze Spikers, had an amazing run. They won the championship in the All-Filipino Conference by defeating the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers. In the Grand Prix conference, they reached the finals again, finishing as runner-up against the same strong opponent.

Bang Pineda has continued to play for various teams, including the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers, United VC, Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, and Petro Gazz Angels. Since 2023, she has been a key player for the Akari Chargers.
