Banks is a small, quiet community in Tunica County, Mississippi, United States. It's a place where people live and work, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county. Banks is mostly a farming area.

Banks is known for its farming. It's located in the northeastern part of Tunica County. You can find it where two roads meet: Mississippi Highway 3 and Mississippi Highway 713. It's also just a few miles east of Tunica Resorts.
A Look at Banks' History
The land where Banks is now was first owned by Ransom Byrnes in 1877. The community of Banks was officially started in 1900. It was named after Richard McPherson Banks, who played a big part in creating the community.
Banks Today: Farming and Transport
Today, Banks is still a busy farming area. A family-owned farm called T.E. Swindoll & Company is located here.
The community is also connected by a railway line. The Canadian National Railway, which used to be called the Illinois Central Railroad, runs right through Banks. This railway helps transport goods and crops from the area.
