Banner is a small, quiet place in the northern part of Iron County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county.

Where is Banner Located?

Banner is nestled near two small streams: Keesling Branch and Cedar Creek. It's about half a mile from where these two streams meet. You can find Banner along Missouri Route 32, which is a main road. It's also about 5 miles west of a town called Belleview.

The Banner Post Office

Banner once had its own post office! It opened in 1924, which was a long time ago. This post office stayed open until 1956. This means people in Banner could send and receive mail right in their community for over 30 years.
