Barbee is a small place in Indiana, USA. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that don't have their own local government, like a city or town. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Tippecanoe Township in Kosciusko County.
History of Barbee
Barbee was named after an early settler in the area, a man named William Barbee. He was one of the first people to make his home there.
In 1898, a post office was opened in Barbee. This was important because it allowed people to send and receive mail. However, the post office did not stay open for very long. It closed in the same year it opened.
