Barnes Bay is a small, quiet area located on Bruny Island in Tasmania, Australia. It's part of the Kingborough region, which is near Hobart. To get there from Kingston, you'd travel about 35 kilometers south, usually by ferry.
In 2016, a count of people living there showed that only 22 people called Barnes Bay home. It is both the name of a bay (a body of water) and a tiny village on the northern part of Bruny Island.
