A Look Back at Basher's History
Basher has a short but interesting history. A post office was opened in the community in 1907. This was an important place for people to send and receive mail. However, the post office did not stay open for very long. It closed its doors in 1920. The community itself was named after a person named Harve Bash. He was the original owner of the land where Basher is located.
