Who Uses the Bat-Signal?
Usually, Commissioner Gordon uses the Bat-Signal. Other important people in Gotham City have also used it. These include Harvey Bullock, and Barbara Gordon. Sometimes, even the mayor, Hamilton Hill, has access to it. The signal is a secret tool for calling on Batman's unique skills.
A Special Tribute
On June 15, 2017, the Bat-Signal was shined in real life! This happened in Los Angeles, where it was projected onto City Hall. In Walla Walla, Washington, it lit up the Whitman Tower. These events were a way to honor Adam West. He was the actor who played Batman in the popular Batman TV show from the 1960s. Adam West passed away on June 9, 2017.
