His Book: An African Savage's Own Story
In 1929, LoBagola wrote some articles for Scribner's Magazine. A publisher named A.A. Knopf decided to turn these into a book. The book was called LoBagola; an African Savage's Own Story. It read like an exciting adventure story about his life.
