Battagram (pronounced Bat-ta-gram) is a city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. It's also the main city of the Battagram District. This city sits high up, about 1,038 meters (3,408 feet) above sea level. It's an important place for the people living in the area.

The 2005 Earthquake
Battagram was one of the areas greatly affected by a big earthquake on October 8, 2005. This natural event caused a lot of damage. Many people were affected, and the community worked hard to recover.
