The Bay neighborhood covers about 556 acres of land. This includes its streets and even railroad lines. It's one of the seventeen neighborhoods that make up the city of Springfield.
Where is Bay Located?
The Bay neighborhood has clear borders, so it's easy to know where it begins and ends.
- To the north, you'll find the Boston & Albany Railroad.
- To the south, it's bordered by State Street.
- Roosevelt Avenue marks its eastern side.
- On the west, you'll see the old Highland Division Railroad and part of St. James Avenue.
