What is Bayscape?
Bayscape is a project to build new apartments and shops. It is happening in two main parts, called phases.
Phase One of Bayscape
The first part of the project, called Phase I, will have 115 apartments. These will be in two separate buildings. There will also be three spaces for shops or businesses.
Phase Two of Bayscape
The second part, Phase II, was planned to be a 28-story tower. This tower would have 170 apartments. However, its design is being updated as of 2019.
Where is Bayscape Located?
Bayscape is part of a huge project in Cardiff Bay. This project is called the Cardiff International Sports Village. It is making the area new and exciting.
The buildings will be built along Victoria Wharf. This is right next to the River Ely and the Cardiff International White Water rafting center. It's also close to the Pont y Werin footbridge and a Waterbus stop. The Cardiff International Pool is also very close by.
