Beat the Boss was an exciting TV show from the United Kingdom shown on CBBC, which is part of the BBC. It was a gameshow all about business! The show was presented by Cameron Johnson and originally by Saira Khan.

In each episode, two teams competed. One team was called "The Bright Sparks," made up of children. The other team, "The Big Shots," was made up of adults. Their challenge was to create a brand-new product that kids would love. At the end of the show, a special group of children voted for their favorite product. The team with the most votes won the "Beat the Boss" trophy and got to ride home in a fancy limousine, while the losing team took the bus!

In Gaisce Gnó, the "Big Shots" often came from the world of visual media, like TV or film, instead of big businesses. Their very first challenge was to create a board game!
