College Basketball Journey

Ben Gillery started his college basketball career at Hutchinson Community College. He played there from 1984 to 1986. After that, he moved to Georgetown University. He played for the Georgetown Hoyas from 1986 to 1988. At Georgetown, he was known as a "project" player. This means he had great potential. He often started games but would sometimes be replaced early on.

Playing in the NBA and CBA

Even though Ben Gillery was not chosen in the NBA draft, he still made it to the big leagues. He played for the Sacramento Kings during the 1988-89 NBA season. He played in 25 games for the Kings.
