Bennett Masinga (born 13 January 1965 – died 14 November 2013) was a famous South African footballer. He was known for playing as a striker, scoring many goals for his teams.
Bennett was also the cousin of another well-known footballer, Phil Masinga. He passed away at the age of 48.

Playing for South Africa
Bennett Masinga played for the South Africa national team, also known as Bafana Bafana. He scored a goal in one of Bafana Bafana's first international matches. This was in a 2–2 draw against Cameroon on 11 July 1992.
His fifth and final international game was against Mauritius. This match took place on 10 April 1993.
