Bernadetta Matuszczak (born March 10, 1937 – died September 3, 2021) was a talented Polish composer. She created many different kinds of music. Bernadetta was born in Toruń, a city in Poland.
She loved music from a young age. She studied music theory and piano in Poznań, Poland. Later, she focused on composition in Warsaw. This school is now called the F. Chopin Academy of Music. She even studied in Paris with a famous teacher, Nadia Boulanger. After finishing her studies, she became a full-time composer. Her music was played all over the world.
