Bertram "Bert" Johnson (born October 20, 1973) is a former politician from the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the Michigan Senate.
Bert Johnson represented the 2nd district. This area includes parts of Detroit, Highland Park, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, and the five Grosse Pointe communities. Before joining the Senate, he was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2007 to 2010.

Bert Johnson attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. After high school, he studied Criminology and Security Administration. He earned his degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Becoming a State Senator
