Berta Vázquez (born Birtukan Tibebe; 28 March 1992) is a talented actress from Ukraine who now lives and works in Spain. She started her career as a dancer. Later, she became known for her acting and also for her music. Berta Vázquez first appeared in the movie Palm Trees in the Snow in 2015. She also played a character named Estefania "Rizos" Kabila in the TV series Locked Up.

Birtukan Tibebe was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1992. Her father was from Ethiopia and her mother was from Ukraine. When she was three years old, a family in Elche, Spain, adopted her.
Discovering Dance and Music
Berta began her dance training at the Paula Yeray school in Elche. She soon found that acting offered many exciting chances. Music was also a part of her journey.
At 18, she moved from Elche to Madrid. In 2013, she sent a music video to try out for The Voice Spain. However, she was not chosen for the show.
Acting Career Highlights
In 2014, Berta Vázquez got her first acting role. This was in the film Palmeras en la nieve (2015). The movie was based on a book by Luz Gabás.

In Palmeras en la nieve, Berta played a character named Bisila. Bisila falls in love with Kilian, played by Mario Casas.
Also in 2015, Berta Vázquez took on a very important role. She played Estefanía Kabila, known as "Rizos," in the TV series Vis a vis. This role became one of her most famous.
