Berta Vázquez (born Birtukan Tibebe; 28 March 1992) is an actress from Ukraine who now lives in Spain. She started her career as a dancer. Later, she began acting and singing. Berta Vázquez first appeared in the movie Palm Trees in the Snow (2015). She also played Estefania "Rizos" Kabila in the TV show Locked Up.
About Berta Vázquez
Birtukan Tibebe was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 1992. Her father was from Ethiopia, and her mother was from Ukraine. When she was three years old, a family in Elche, Spain, adopted her.
Berta began learning to dance at the Paula Yeray school in Elche. She found many chances to work in acting. She also explored music. When she was 18, she moved from Elche to Madrid.
In 2014, Berta got her first acting job. It was for the film Palmeras en la nieve (2015). This movie was based on a book by Luz Gabás. Berta played a character named Bisila. Bisila falls in love with Kilian, played by Mario Casas.
Also in 2015, Berta Vázquez got a very important role. She played Estefanía Kabila, known as "Rizos," in the TV series Vis a vis. Throughout her career, she has used different stage names. Some of these names include Cleo Brian and Mila Russo. Her current stage name is Berta Vázquez.
