Beulah is a small community in Crawford County, Kansas, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.

Beulah's History

Beulah was started in 1874. A group of people called Methodists decided to build a community there. They finished building their church in 1881.

A post office opened in Beulah on December 31, 1874. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. The post office closed on March 15, 1955.

Beulah was also a stop on the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway. This was a train line that helped people and goods travel.

Famous People from Beulah

One well-known person from Beulah is Homer Woodson Hargiss. He was a famous college football coach. He also created new ways to play the game. Homer Hargiss went to Beulah High School before it closed down.
