Beverly Marie Lewis (born Jones) is an American author who has written over 100 books for both adults and children. She is especially known for her Christian fiction novels.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Beverly Lewis was a schoolteacher and a musician. She started playing the piano when she was just four years old. By the time she was nine, she was already writing her own short stories and poems.

Many of her stories are about the Old Order Amish community. Her interest in this topic comes from her own family history; her grandmother was born into an Old Order Mennonite Church. Beverly grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which is a big center for the Pennsylvania Dutch community. Her father was a pastor there.

Beverly Lewis went to Evangel University and received a special award from the university in 2003. She is also a member of the National League of American Pen Women, a group for women writers and artists.

She is married to David Lewis, and they have three grown children and three grandchildren. They live in Colorado.
