Tyruss Gerald Himes (born November 22, 1968 – died December 5, 2016) was an American rapper. He was best known by his stage names Big Syke and Mussolini.
Big Syke became famous for his work with the American hip-hop groups Thug Life and Outlawz. His stage name "Big Syke" came from his childhood nickname, "Little Psycho." He passed away at his home in Hawthorne, California.

Big Syke's Music Career
Tyruss Himes was born and grew up in Inglewood, California. In 1990, he started a hip-hop group called Evil Mind Gangstas. He formed this group with other rappers named Domino and Mental Illness.
In 1992, Big Syke met the famous rapper Tupac "2Pac" Shakur. He then joined 2Pac's rap group, Thug Life. Later, in 1995, he became a part of 2Pac's second rap group, The Outlaw Immortalz.
As a member of The Outlaw Immortalz, Big Syke used the name Mussolini. He recorded several songs for 2Pac's 1996 album, All Eyez on Me. Some of these well-known songs include "Picture Me Rollin'," "When We Ride," "All Eyez on Me," and "Check Out Time."

Big Syke passed away at his home in Hawthorne, California on December 5, 2016. He was 48 years old at the time of his death. His passing was due to natural causes.
