Bill Timoney (born March 5, 1958) is an American actor, director, writer, and producer. He has worked in many areas of entertainment, from TV shows and movies to plays and video games.

Bill Timoney's Acting Career
Bill Timoney has had a long and interesting career in acting. He is known for many different types of roles.
TV and Voice Acting Roles
One of Bill Timoney's most famous TV roles was Alfred Vanderpool on the show All My Children. He played this character, known as the "preppie nerd," from 1982 to 1987. He also made guest appearances on the show until 2005. The famous music group Boyz II Men even got inspiration from his character. One of their singers, Nathan Morris, used "Alex Vanderpool" as his stage name for a while.
Bill Timoney is also a talented voice actor. He often "dubs" voices for foreign movies and animated shows. This means he provides the English voices for characters that originally spoke another language. He has directed and written scripts for many Japanese anime shows.
Besides acting, Bill Timoney has also been a stand-up comedian. He even wrote a column about voice acting for a magazine.
Theatre and Stage Work
In 2010, Bill Timoney started performing in off-Broadway plays in New York City. He was a backup actor for other performers in a play called The Irish Curse. He stepped in to play different roles several times.
Later in 2010, he received good reviews for his role as Bob in the play Picking Palin. His wife, actress Georgette Reilly Timoney, also starred in this play. They have performed together in many other stage productions. They also voiced a married couple, Izzy and Cara, in the popular anime TV series Pokémon.
Bill Timoney also worked on the independent movie Last Chance. He was an associate producer, acted in the film, and helped with the fight scenes. This movie was directed by Bryan Cranston, who later became famous for Breaking Bad.
In 2012, Bill Timoney took a break from acting for a year. He worked as a line producer for a live TV news show called "Ebru Today." He helped put together the daily script for the show. He also assigned stories to reporters and checked facts.
In 2014, Bill Timoney made his debut on Broadway, which is the highest level of theatre in New York. He played nine different characters in a play called All The Way. Bryan Cranston starred in this play as President Lyndon B. Johnson. The play won two Tony Awards, which are very important awards for theatre.
In 2018, Timoney and Bryan Cranston worked together again on Broadway in a play based on the movie Network. Bryan Cranston won another Tony Award for his role. Bill Timoney played the TV news program's director and was also the backup actor for Cranston's main role.
Bill Timoney also appeared in the 2019 movie The Irishman, directed by Martin Scorsese. He played a prosecutor in a trial scene. He and actor Robert De Niro made up their lines on the spot for that part of the movie.
Personal Life
Bill Timoney married Georgette Reilly on March 16, 2002. They both grew up in New Jersey. They live on the Jersey Shore with their many dogs and cats.
