Bimini is a group of islands in The Bahamas, located farthest to the west. It's also the closest part of The Bahamas to the mainland United States. Bimini is about 209 kilometers (137 miles) west-northwest of Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas.
Around 1,600 people live on these islands. The main town is called Alice Town. You can fly to South Bimini island, where the South Bimini Airport is located. The waters around Bimini are very famous for big-game fishing, attracting anglers from all over the world.
