Bisco Hatori was born in Saitama, Japan, on August 30, 1975. She uses the pen name Bisco Hatori for all her creative work. She has created manga for popular magazines like LaLa.

Her first manga story was called A Moment of Romance. It was published in a magazine called LaLa DX. Her first series was Millennium Snow. This series was put on hold for a while. This happened because she started working on another manga.

That other manga was a funny story called Ouran High School Host Club. This series became a huge success! It was so popular that it was one of the top 50 best-selling manga in Japan in both 2008 and 2009.

Bisco Hatori's work is inspired by classic manga. Some of these include Please Save My Earth, which is a science fiction series for girls. She also liked the basketball manga Slam Dunk. She finished Ouran High School Host Club in 2010.

In 2012, Hatori wrote a short science-fiction comedy manga. It was called Detarame Mōsōryoku Opera. It was published in LaLa magazine. Her series Millennium Snow was finally finished in 2014.
