Ouran High School Host Club is a fun manga series created by Bisco Hatori. It's a story about a smart girl who ends up in a very fancy school and joins a special club.
The story of the manga and anime is all about a girl named Haruhi. She gets a scholarship to a super rich school called Ouran Academy. One day, she accidentally breaks a very expensive vase belonging to the school's "Host Club." To pay off the debt, Haruhi has to join the club. The Host Club is a group of handsome boys who entertain girl students. Because Haruhi has short hair and wears simple clothes, the club members mistake her for a boy! So, she has to pretend to be a boy while working in the club. Haruhi is a "commoner" (meaning she's not rich), which is very different from the other Host Club members who are all from wealthy families. The series follows her funny and heartwarming adventures with the unique club members.
