Black Milk, whose real name is Curtis Eugene Cross, is a talented American artist born on August 14, 1983. He is known for being a rapper, a songwriter, and a music producer. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a city famous for its music.

Black Milk's Music Journey
Black Milk has worked with many famous artists throughout his career. These include J Dilla, Danny Brown, and Black Thought.
Early Career and First Albums
In 2004, Black Milk started a group called B.R. Gunna. He formed it with Young RJ and Fat Ray. They released an album together called Dirty District: Vol. 2.
In 2005, Black Milk released his first solo album. It was titled Sound of the City, Vol. 1. The next year, he signed a record deal with Fat Beats Records. In late 2006, he put out a shorter album, an EP, called Broken Wax. He also helped produce music for T3's Olio mixtape. On March 13, 2007, his second album, Popular Demand, came out.
Black Milk released an album with Fat Ray called The Set Up in 2008. His third solo album, "Tronic," was released later that year. He also produced most of the songs on Elzhi's album The Preface.
New Music and Collaborations
On December 25, 2009, Black Milk shared the first song from his album Album of the Year. This song was called "Keep Going." He also released two more songs, "Welcome (Gotta Go)" and "Deadly Medley." "Deadly Medley" featured other rappers, Royce da 5'9" and Elzhi. The music video for "Deadly Medley" came out in August 2010. His album Album of the Year was released in September.
In March 2011, Black Milk released a special song called "Brain." This song was a team-up between Black Milk, his band, and Jack White. Jack White is famous from the band The White Stripes. Another song, "Royal Mega," was also released.
On October 15, 2013, Black Milk released a new album called No Poison No Paradise. This album featured many guest artists. These included Black Thought from The Roots and Robert Glasper.
In March 2014, Black Milk released an EP called Glitches in the Break. He produced all the songs on this project himself. It had nine songs that had not been released before. It also featured guest artists like Guilty Simpson.
His sixth album, If There's a Hell Below, came out in October 2014. This album also had many guest artists. These included Blu, Bun B, and Pete Rock.
